Has content inspiration left you? What can you post on LinkedIn to stay relevant and reach your target audience?

We’re here to share our creative ideas. We know you’re juggling your business, your to-do list, and creating content is not at the top of your priority list. And we both know that content still matters. Being active on social media and posting what resonates with your audience is still important. So, here are 10 awesome ideas you can try this month!

But, before that, what’s important to remember is that the content you’re creating and then sharing on social media has to be close to your core values, who you are as a business. It has to resonate and engage the people who are following you and whom you are planning to reach. With that in mind, let’s start, here are some good content ideas:

  • Interactive and rich posts

We’re talking about content that makes the audience take a certain action. People on LinkedIn are always mindlessly scrolling through the curated feed of the platform that’s based on their interests and interactions. So, how can you stand out from the crowd and make people stop, like, and follow? Well, spark their curiosity. Easier said than done, we know! Create an interactive poll with a thought-provoking question. Turn a controversial topic into an open discussion to hear your audience’s thoughts on it.

  • Product demos & how-tos

These will always be a part of your content strategy. Why? Ideally, your products & services are always improving. For example, if you’re a skincare brand, you’ll always have to educate your audience on how to best use your products to achieve the best results. If you’re developing a new product, you’ll have to share with the world how that product works, and how to best use it. If you’re an IT service provider, you need to share with your audience what has been optimised in your services.

  • Host interesting conversations with different businesses

We’re not saying to start a podcast, that would be insanely time consuming! We’re talking about live interviews directly on LinkedIn. Get in touch with industry experts, or other business professionals related to your industry (or maybe not, spice things up!). Have deep conversations regarding a preset topic and share valuable insights with your audience. Maybe you can let your audience pick the next topic of the live or even the person they’d like you to speak with.

  • Don’t forget about your newsletter

And we mean it! Don’t forget about it. You still need to bring new subscribers to the newsletter. And we both know email marketing is not going anywhere. So, why not promote your newsletter on LinkedIn? Chances are more people from your target audience pool are already on LinkedIn. Even if not, why pass on the power this platform has? Utilise it to your advantage. And forget to mention what people get when they subscribe ;)

  • LinkedIn is the best place to share your educational eBooks or whitepapers

That’s how you show you’re an expert in your field. These downloadable resources filled with valuable & educational content are fit for professionals in the industry, people who are interested in what your business has to offer, and people who are starting out in the industry. When you are an expert in your field, you have a unique view of the challenges. And people are interested in what you know, because it affects what you can do for them.

  • Take advantage of seasonal holidays

With Halloween just around the corner, take the opportunity to add some spice to your content ;) See how you can give the posts you’re sharing a spooky vibe to it. If you have a promotion going on, it might be the best time to share it!

  • Share relevant industry stats

Bring your posts to life by sharing relevant industry statistics, research, case studies, research, and data. Make sure to keep all the statistics, facts, and figures related to your brand. This ensures that the content on LinkedIn is informative and not just redundant.

  • Show off the company culture

The best thing about LinkedIn is that it allows you to showcase what makes your company or industry unique: the people and culture that make up your team. Posting employee spotlights, workplace stories, and behind-the-scenes insights are great ways to humanize your brand and give your readers an authentic glimpse into your world.

  • Highlight customer success stories

Do you have a customer who has had great success with your product or service? Highlighting customer success is a great way to emphasize your brand's values and give your readers a purpose.

  • Provide expert tips and guidance

LinkedIn is already full of vague and general career advice. Surprise your followers with tips, hacks, and insights you won't find anywhere else. Whether it's a guide to converting e-commerce customers on social media, a list of the best restaurants for business meetings in x city, or general advice on how to get to where you are today, we'll give you honest, real-world advice.
